Claim your listing

Klibon keeps directory entries for affiliate programs it does not run, so they can appear on uneed.best. They come from makers filling in an affiliate URL on Uneed, and from entries added by hand. If one of them is yours, claiming it puts it on your dashboard and lets you edit what it says — or hand the program to Klibon and have it tracked.

What claiming proves

That you control the domain the listing points at. Not that you are signed in — a Klibon account is free — and not that you know the product.

The code you publish is derived from your account and the domain. It is not a secret: someone who reads it on your site cannot use it to claim anything.

Option A — a DNS record

Add a TXT record at _klibon. followed by your domain, with the value shown on the claim page:

dns
_klibon.example.com. TXT "klibon-verification=<your code>"

The _klibon name exists so a subdomain that already has a CNAME (most hosted sites) can still carry the record. Putting the same value directly on the domain works too. DNS changes usually show within minutes; some providers take longer.

Option B — a meta tag

Put this in the <head> of your homepage, served over https, and publish:

html
<meta name="klibon-verification" content="<your code>">

Klibon fetches https://your-domain/ and reads the tag. It follows up to three redirects, on your domain only, and reads the first 256 KB. A homepage behind a login, a redirect to another domain, or a framework that strips unknown meta tags will fail the check — use the DNS record in those cases.

After claiming

  • Edit the listing. The product, the link affiliates follow, and the terms it states on Uneed. Cookie windows, holds and approval are not part of a listing — Klibon is not running it.
  • Convert it. Klibon takes over: affiliates join in one click and get a tracked link, sales are attributed through your payment processor, a statement tells you what to pay each month. The entry keeps its address, and this is when the program joins the Klibon marketplace — which lists only programs Klibon tracks. It starts as a draft, so nothing is public until you have installed the script, connected payments and activated it.

Removing a listing

Every entry has a “Request removal” link on its page at klibon.com/listings/<slug>. Say who you are and why, and it is handled within a day. You do not need an account.
