Plans and limits

The free plan runs one program with everything Klibon does: tracking, commissions, statements. Paid plans lift the ceilings for a flat monthly fee billed to you — never a percentage of commissions. Managed payouts add a 3% processing fee on the commissions Klibon pays out for you. What follows is exactly what each limit counts, and what happens if you pass one.

What counts

A live program

One that is active or paused. Drafts are free and unlimited — you can build and test a program completely before paying for anything. An archived program counts for nothing.

An active affiliate

Someone you have approved who has had at least one genuine click in the last 30 days. An affiliate who joined and never sent anyone does not count. Neither do filtered clicks — bots, double-taps, and floods are excluded, so nobody becomes "active" through traffic you would not have paid for anyway.

Your own test relationship never counts. It is plumbing, not a partner.

A processor

Each connected processor is one slot, and the conversions API is a processor like any other. Free includes one, which is enough for anyone selling through a single checkout.

Managed payouts

On Growth and Scale, Klibon can charge you once a month and pay your affiliates through Stripe. Unlike every other feature here, this one is checked again at the moment of the charge: if your plan has lapsed by the 5th, nothing is charged, you are told, and the statements stay due for you to pay yourself. A payout that is already being charged always completes. How managed payouts work.

Going over

Nothing stops. Every click is recorded, every commission is created, every statement is produced. Passing a limit means you are asked to upgrade, not cut off — an affiliate who did the work is owed the commission whatever plan you are on.

What a limit does prevent is adding more: a second program on Free, a second processor, an invitation past the monthly ceiling. Those are refused with a message pointing at the plan that includes them.

Changing plan

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades work the same way, and if you are using more than the smaller plan includes, Klibon says exactly what before making the change — nothing is deleted, you simply cannot add more until you are back under the line.

Going back to Free means cancelling in the customer portal. There is nothing to check out: Free is what an account has when it is paying for nothing.

If a payment fails

You drop to Free, you are not shut down. Your oldest program keeps running on the free plan; anything beyond what Free includes is paused, meaning it comes off the marketplace and stops accepting new affiliates.

Tracking does not stop, on any of them. Clicks from affiliates who already joined are still recorded and still earn, because they have a relationship with you and a card that expired is not their fault. Everything comes back by itself when the payment goes through.

A program you paused yourself stays paused. Klibon only resumes what Klibon paused.
